All people and the animals they love are welcome at the 2017 Blessing of the Animals on Sunday, October 1st, at 1:00pm, at Saint Rose of Lima church, Topsfield. Whether you are able to attend or will be here in spirit, we invite you to be a part of this very special annual event! Join us in celebration of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi as you have your pets blessed in the spirit of this patron saint of animals and environment. It’s a wonderful day to enjoy the blessing of a pet, delicious refreshments, rejoice with fellow animal lovers and more. It’s a celebration not to be missed.
During this time of celebration, we ask you to consider a gift in honor of, or in memory of, your favorite furry friend or other loved one. Your donation of $25 or more received by September 22th will be recognized in the 2017 Animal Blessing Program. Saint Francis of Assisi cherished animals and the environment. Your donation will helps us make our celebration one to truly honor our beloved pets, and care for the beautiful grounds of our parishes. Remember to bring, send or email photos of pets that have passed or who are not able to attend. We will display and include them in the blessing too!
