Whether you're simply wondering about your Catholic faith or seriously considering becoming Catholic, you're invited to Curious About Catholicism.
Come as you are—on whichever date works for you, or attend both gatherings. Bring your questions, your experiences, and your curiosity. There is no pressure and no commitment.
Join us in the Rectory Barn, 17 Prospect St., Topsfield, on Tuesday, July 14, or Tuesday, August 18, from 7:00–8:15 p.m. Attend one or both evenings.
These gatherings are for anyone interested in learning about OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults), formerly called RCIA. OCIA is a free, parish-based process for adults exploring the Catholic faith. It typically meets weekly from September through Easter, and participating does not obligate you to become Catholic.
You do not need to be baptized, understand every teaching of the Church, or have your life all figured out. You are welcome exactly as you are.
Curious About Catholicism is also for:
- Catholics who have questions or want to deepen their understanding of the faith.
- Those exploring Christianity or the Catholic Church without having decided to join.
- People who are already Catholic and attend Mass and want to learn more.
- Adults baptized Catholic as infants but who never practiced the faith.
- Those beginning to explore OCIA.
- Friends or family members of parishioners who are curious and need someone to invite them to join our parish.
Wherever you are on your faith journey, you are welcome. Come and discover, ask questions, and explore what the Catholic Church believes in a relaxed, open environment.
