Bereavement Group

Beginning in November, I will be leading a six week bereavement group for our parishes. Our gatherings will use a Catholic Bereavement Program called “Seasons of Hope” which invites those who mourn the death of a loved one to encounter the healing presence of Christ. Utilizing Sacred Scripture, prayer, personal reflection, accompaniment, and simple activities we will seek to understand our experience, mourn as those with hope, offer appropriate support to one another, and seek healing from Jesus.
I look forward to the opportunity to enter into this bereavement group as a leader and as a participant. I hope that you will spend some time considering if the Lord is inviting you to be a part of this six week series open to all, regardless of when you may have experienced a loss.
Meetings will take place at the parish rectory in Topsfield at 17 Prospect Street on the following Saturdays from 10:00-11:30am: November 8, 15, 22, 29, and December 6 & 13.
