Coffee by Cathryn returns Sun, Oct 4 at St Rose
The Coffee by Cathryn cart returns to St. Rose following the 9:30 AM Mass on Sunday, Oct 4 and each first Sunday moving forward.
Coffee by Cathryn is part of our parishes’ Disability Ministry and seeks to build a more inclusive parish where people of all abilities are welcomed and valued as part of the Body of Christ by providing coffee, tea, and a welcoming space for parishioners to gather and connect.
Mark Bradford and “Word on Fire” recently featured this ministry on their website as part of their “What Can I Do?” series. Cathryn Lally, a Saint Rose of Lima parishioner and young woman with Down Syndrome and her mother, Diane Lally who leads our Disability Ministry explained how this ministry is leading through discipleship by example. Coffee by Cathryn Ministry is a new parish initiative that fosters fellowship and strengthens our community by offering coffee and tea, creating a natural/organic opportunity for inclusivity and overall sense of belonging.
