“ ….so that you may not grieve like the rest, who have no hope.” - Saint Paul
Beginning in December, a six week bereavement program will be offered for our parishes. Our gatherings will use a Catholic Bereavement Program called “Seasons of Hope” which invites those who mourn the death of a loved one to encounter the healing presence of Christ. Utilizing Sacred Scripture, prayer, personal reflection, and faith sharing we will seek to understand our experience, mourn as those with hope, offer appropriate support for one another, and seek healing from Jesus.
This program is open to all, regardless of when you have experienced a loss or past Bereavement Group participation. Two parishioners, Donna D’Agostino and Loretta Cusick, who both have experience in the health care field, will lead the group. Meetings will take place at the Barn (rectory meeting room) in Topsfield at 17 Prospect Street on the following Saturdays from 9:45-11:00 AM: Dec 5, 12, Jan 2, 9, 16 & 23.
